Viola Grace Kentner

Viola Grace Kentner 93 went to join the love of her life in Heaven on October 13, 2016. She was born in Dallas, Oregon in 1923 to Fred and Dora Harriman. She is survived by their 3 children; George (wife Carol), Kay Dora (husband Larry), and Daniel (wife Tressa). She leaves behind 5 grandchildren; Kelly Lake, Amy Sherlock, Justin Thomas, Addriene Stolpe, and Ermias Thomas, and 7 great grandchildren as well as one on the way, and 1 great great grandchild.
She had married the love of her life, Kenneth Kentner on June 7, 1939. They lived most of their lives in Monrovia, CA where they became quite prominent in the community. Viola was also quite the philanthropist, volunteering most of her life for many causes too numerous to list. She was the recipient of many awards.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a true friend to all who knew her. She loved God and showed it by being a Sunday school teacher for many years at the First Baptist Church.
There will be a celebration of life at the First Baptist Church of Monrovia, 223 Encintias Ave., Monrovia, CA 91016 on November 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
