Vincent Lawrence Dechellis

September 28, 1937 — October 7, 2011

Vincent Lawrence DeChellis, born September 28, 1937, son of Romeo and Josephine DeChellis, and brother to Michael and Richard, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved his wife, Gayle, of 50 years, family, friends and two dogs. Prior to retirement, he worked in the graphic arts field. He is survived by his wife, Gayle DeChellis; daughter, Vicki Finton and her two sons, Austin and Trey of Monrovia; his son, Brett DeChellis, wife Dina, and their two children Jacob and Jillian of Yucaipa, CA; his brother, Richard DeChellis and his wife Karen of Eugene, OR. His first born daughter, Tamara, passed away in 1964. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 512 West Duarte Road, Arcadia, with a get together at the family home immediately following.
