Velia Moreno was born in Los Angeles, California on February 22,1929 to Francisco & Juana Macias. She was married to Jesus Moreno, Jr. who predeceased her. She is survived by her sons Michael and Jesus III; grandchildren Deanna, Dalilah, Theresa, Jesse & Mickey; great grandchildren Brianna, Sofia, Zoe & Diego. Velia also leaves her sister Martha and brothers Billy and Bobby. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 starting at 4:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 4:30pm. This will be held at Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 9:00am at St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple City. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
