Thomas Marquette Kendall

THOMAS - On April 16, 1966 in Los Angeles, California Kendall Marquette Thomas was born to his proud parents, Eddie and Shirley Thomas. Kendall attended schools in Monrovia and Duarte, California and eventually graduated from Ganesha High School in Pomona, California. Kendall was also known as Bigtime by many and had a Heart of Gold he would give to anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. Kendall loved his Family so much all he prayed and hoped for was unity among all. On March 5, 2004, he and Mary Rita Guillory were married and he gained an instant family of children, grandchildren and a few great grandchildren who all loved Kendall very much. Sadly on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 6:20 am, Kendall lost his short battle with Testicular cancer. Kendall leaves behind to mourn his passing his loving wife, Mary Rita Thomas; their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Notice that “step” is not used and that is because Kendall never thought of them as step children, grandchildren or great grandchildren. As far as he was concerned, they were just as much his as they are Mary’s and he loved each and everyone of them. Kendall also leaves behind to mourn his passing, mother, Shirley Jean Thomas; seven sisters, Arrietha (Henry) Jackson, Linda Johnson, Eddie Thomas, Edwina Nixon, Sunday (Ricky) Burton, Shanda (Tyrone) Smith, and Traci Thomas; four brothers, Melvin Woods, Darryl Wells, Aaron Wells, and Edward Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kendall was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Thomas (1995), brother, Randall Pearce (2005), and sister, Florence Dixon (2006). Kendall was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Although he is gone he will never ever be forgotten. We love YOU Kendall! A visitation will be held Fri, Oct. 1, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM and the service will be Sat., Oct. 2 at 11:00 AM both at Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance, 600 E.
