Stephen Gregory Hauk

May 24, 1966 — August 1, 2013

Stephen G. Hauk, age 47, passed away August 1, 2013 from complications after receiving a heart transplant at UCLA Medical Center. As a 1984 graduate of La Salle High School in Pasadena, California, Steve's lifelong pursuit as an educator, mentor, and writer began with an Associate Degree of Arts from Citrus College in September, 1987. Steve went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in June, 1990 and Master of Science from Cal Poly in December, 1993 both majoring in Physical Education.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Suzanne H. Hauk, formerly of Monrovia, California. Stephen is survived by 8 siblings including, Charles Hauk, Stacey LaCourse, Denise Hauk Hensley, Andrew Hauk, Christopher Hauk, Anthony Hauk, Patrick Hauk, and Kerry Roccia. As their most favorite and loving Uncle, Steve also leaves behind multiple Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews and Great Nieces.
