Rosa Velia Hinojoza, was born in Durango, Mexico on April 18, 1940 and passed away on February 19, 2009 in San Gabriel, California. Rosa was a chef and worked at the San Gabriel Mission for many years. She is survived by daughter, Gabriela Hinojoza; grandson, Cristobal Ureña; and many other relatives in Mexico. A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009, 7:30 PM with a Mass celebrated on Friday, February 27th, 10:30 AM, both at the San Gabriel Mission. She will be missed by all who knew her.
