Ronald Keith Gillespie

Ronald Keith Gillespie, 67, born on December 17, 1956, in Alhambra, CA, United States, passed away October 20, 2024. He resided in Sierra Madre, CA at the time of his passing. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend-known for his infectious laughter and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

Keith, as he was affectionately known was the son of Josephine (Joann) and Richard Lee Gillespie. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet, whom he married in 2018.  Keith cherished his family which included his children: Michael Carlson, Arthur Gillespie, Ronald (Ronnie) Gillespie, Hannah Shepherd, and Gracie Gillespie. He was a proud grandfather to: Caryn Thompson, Madison Gillespie, Conner Gillespie, Matthew Carlson, Scout Shepherd, and Rosie Shepherd.

He is remembered fondly by his siblings Michael Gillespie and Linda Castillo, along with his mother Joann Gillespie and many loved nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.  Keith was known for his ability to share stories that captivated his family and friends, always making people laugh and feel at ease. His generous spirit and helpful nature touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on their hearts.

Keith's warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate through the stores he shared and the memories he created with those he cherished.
