Rodger A. Karcher passed away last Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the age of 69. He is survived by two daughters, Rainy Karcher (San Clemente, CA) and Holly-Rae Van Hoof (Downs, IL), and five grandchildren, Tanner and Devon Bush, Brendan Doyle, and Gracie and Jack Van Hoof. He also leaves behind two brothers and their families, Bernie and Krysti Lusk (Topeka, KS) and Brad and Olivia Lusk (Grover Beach, CA). Rodger was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Dewey Karcher and Mary Jean Lusk.

Rodger was born in Pasadena, graduated from Glendora High School, and served in the Marines from 1962-1966. He loved to surf, had a passion for cars and motorcycles, and enjoyed playing the piano.

Please join us Monday, January 27th at 12:15 pm at the Riverside National Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at the Riverside American Legion Post 79, 2979 Dexter Dr., Riverside, CA 92501. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Riverside American Legion Post 79.
