Robert C. Day, 88, passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2012. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Kay; daughter-in-law, Susie; niece, Cindy Smith and extended family. Bob was preceded in death by his son, Charlie. Visitation hours beginning at 5 PM and a Vigil Service at 7 PM on Sunday, Sept. 23 will be held at the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance FH in Monrovia. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM on Monday at Immaculate Conception Church in Monrovia, where he had been an active member since 1947 and served as Sacristan/Eucharistic Minister. Bob was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the Order of Alhambra.
