Richard “Spark” James Steele, age 80, passed away January 21, 2013 in Monrovia, CA. He was the former owner of Carburetor Engineering in Pasadena, which was a family business for 63 years. Spark loved traveling to the mountains and the desert to enjoy the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bob, Dutch and Norma; and niece, Susan. He is survived by his wife, Julia; sisters, Dorothy and Margaret; nieces and nephews, Rick, Carl, Dennis, Lucy, Ken, Jim, Bob, Margaret, Mary, Donna, Ron, Kathy, Debbie and Patty. No services are scheduled at this time.
