Richard L. Lama

January 26, 1930 — September 19, 2009

Richard L. Lama, born in Monrovia, CA on January 26, 1930 and passed away September 19, 2009 at his home in Glendora, CA. Richard graduated from UCLA and remained a die hard Bruin fan until the end. He was a member of the National Guard and a Korean War veteran. He is survived by sons Douglas (Laurie), David and Donald (Cathy) Lama, by daughter Diane Gorman. He also leaves six grandchildren, Danielle, Carly, Allison, Nick, Eric and Jack. He will be sorely missed. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 23 at Douglass & Zook Chapel in Monrovia, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 24, 2009, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church at 435 Berkeley in Claremont, 91711.
