Regina Lynn Quiroz

December 17, 1951 — September 8, 2020

Regina Lynn Quiroz, 68, born on December 17, 1951, in CA, passed away September 8, 2020. She resided in Glendora, CA at the time of her passing.

Regina grew up in San Gabriel, CA and graduated from Mark Keppel High School in 1970. Regina and her husband, Victor, raised their three children (Gina, Lisa, and Chris) and a grandchild (Tyler) in Arcadia, CA, where Regina was actively involved as a team parent, PTA member and community volunteer. Regina was a strong woman with a caring and kind heart. She epitomized the phrase "unconditional love." She never gave up on those she cared about and she was the first to accept you when no one else would. This tenderness and love not only extended to her family, but to many of her children's friends, acquaintances, and classmates who were in need of a place to stay and a home cooked meal.

Regina always created a welcoming home. This was none more apparent than in 2016, when Regina and Victor moved to their dream home in Glendora. She decorated her home for every season, holiday and momentous occasion. Regina loved updating her home with new decor, trinkets and accoutrements throughout the house. This love of home extended to her garden, where she loved planting flowers, growing vegetables and feeding all of the diverse (and wild) animals that wandered or flew in to the backyard. She enjoyed the peaceful serenity of her waterfall and koi pond while Victor enjoyed the jacuzzi. Her home was her haven.

Regina's greatest love, though, was the love she had for her husband, Victor. The two of them recently celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary and have been together for 52 amazing years. Regina enjoyed the little things that her husband did everyday that people often overlook. For her, it was Victor's 3-5 calls to her throughout his workday that always put a smile on her face. Without a doubt, one of the calls by 11am was the two of them planning for dinner! While life was not always easy, the two of them persevered with love, compromise, and honesty. You could always find the two of them supporting their kids and grandkids at their numerous activities, recitals, sporting events, birthdays and life events. If Vic and Regina weren't spending time with their kids, they were probably at a USC football game, on a trip to the Dominican Republic or out to dinner with their cousins and friends, whom she loved dearly. Regina loved her husband, her family, her friends, her animals, her home and more than anything, her daily routine.

Regina has entered God's Kingdom to be reunited with her daughter, Lisa, who passed away in 2012. Regina is survived by her husband, Victor; children, Gina and Chris (Michelle); grandchildren, Tyler, Tristan, Cayden, Fiona, and Zoey.
