Pete Christofi, 74, passed away peacefully July 5, 2011 at his home. Pete was a loving and devoted man to his wife, his Church, his family, and the profession he loved so dearly; horse racing, and breeding. He was a member of the Horse Racing Association and was involved with horses for over 55 years. Rarely did a day go by that he was not at Santa Anita Park. He is preceded in death by his loving dear wife, Marian, who passed away in March 2011. Pete missed her so much, and he has now joined her. Pete will be missed by so many friends and colleagues. Pete was a member of Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church. A Trisagion service will be Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 7:00pm held at Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Monday, July 11, 2011 at 12:00pm at Live Oak Cemetery.
