July 21, 1960 — March 24, 2021

Paul Vincent Campana, Jr., 60, born on July 21, 1960, in Irvington, New Jersey, passed away March 24, 2021. He resided in Sunset Beach, Hawai'i at the time of his passing.

This memorial is to celebrate the life of our beloved Paul, Paulie, Uncle Paulie, Campy, Camp. All of us admired him for so many things – big personality, enormous heart, amazing humor, immense generosity, sharp mind, incredible strength, devotion to his family and having the zest for life. Every person he encountered, he welcomed with open arms and if meeting for the first time, he treated you like family. His light touched many lives and impacted them in such positive and life-changing ways. Paul was born in Irvington, New Jersey to Gail and Paul Campana, Sr., who have joyfully greeted him in heaven. As a young boy, Paul was active in sports, fishing, crabbing and outings to the beach with his family. Eventually, the family moved to the Jersey Shore, Chadwick Beach. After high school, Paul earned his chiropractic degree at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was a successful businessman, starting his entrepreneurial journey with his brother, Darryl and sister-in-law, Donna, building chiropractic offices in New Jersey and New York followed by real estate development in New Jersey, Florida and Hawai'i. The current family business is a pest control company on the North Shore of Oahu Hawai'i. Since childhood, he was an avid waterman and as a teenager, he discovered surfing and was a lifeguard in Chadwick Beach. The love of the ocean and to be closer with family brought him to Hawai'i where he loved working on his boats, riding his motorcycle, enjoyed fishing, especially with his niece, Tiana and nephew, Rocky and sharing his life with girlfriend, Donna G. Paul loved his dogs, Shiloh, his Shih Tzu and Weimaraners, Bandito and Silver who he just joined in heaven. He always believed that life should be passionate, to have fun, create lasting memories with those you love – this is the legacy Paul leaves behind. He will always be remembered in our hearts and continue to be with us every day in spirit. Aloha and A hui hou Paul!

He leaves his brother, Darryl Campana, sister-in-law, Donna Campana, niece, Tiana, nephew, Rocky of Sunset Beach, Hawai'i and girlfriend, Donna Gutierrez, her daughter, Chloe Tyler of Sunset Beach, Hawai'i, her other daughter, Arianna Tyler of Las Vegas, Nevada, and his cherished dog, Shiloh.
