RUTH - Olivia Heminway Ruth, of Royal Oaks Manor, Bradbury, CA, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 of natural causes. A native of Newport, RI, Olivia was raised in Vermont at the Church of Our Savior Mission in Killington. She graduated from Pembroke College in Providence, RI, in 1948; and later became a librarian, a career spanning 35 years. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Stuart Ruth; her sister Lynette Emery of Denver, CO; three daughters, Elizabeth Ruth-Abramian of Santa Monica, CA, Mary Harwood Ruth of Snow Camp, NC, and Catherine Edgar of Natick, MA; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. She was a longtime member of SCHC. Her service will be held Wednesday July 6 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Ascension, Sierra Madre.
