Miriam "Mim" E. Johnson, 87, passed away December 30, 2011. She was born December 4, 1924 in Fertile, MN. Mim was a teacher for the Pasadena Unified School District for 25 years, an active member of the Sons of Norway, greatly involved in various church activities, the devoted wife of Amon Johnson, Jr., former pastor of Hill Avenue Grace Lutheran Church in Pasadena, and a loving mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Amon, and is survived by her sister, Thordis Zagona; children, Jeffrey, Joseph (Denise), Martha, Sara, and Nancy; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 21 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church in the Foothills, La Cañada, CA.
