Mimi L. Mency, passed away June 21, 2011 at age 74. Mimi was long time Monrovia resident and an active member of the community, particularly with the Monrovia School District. She is survived by her husband, George; daughter, Sherellyn Parent; sister, Lavada Desalles, and her grand and great grandchildren. Visitation hours 5-8 PM on Monday, June 27, will be held at the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance FH with services on Tuesday at 11:30 AM being held at the United Methodist Church, 140 E. Palm Avenue in Monrovia.
