Mildred C. Greenwald, 87, passed away December 7, 2009. Millie is survived by her Nephews: Jay Sunyogh, Dale & Ervin Mitchley, V.J. Hanson, and Laverne, Michael, William & John Vondran and Mark Mitchley; by her Nieces: Sherry Lux, Helen Vondran, JoLene Garcia, Marilyn Valencia and Kathleen Sendt; Joan Mitchely and her God-Daughter, Stephanie Knight. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer Greenwald who passed away in 2002; by her sisters, Agatha Sunyogh, Dolores Mitchley, and Margaret Hanson, and her brothers, Laverne and Bud Vondran. Visitation hours beginning at 5:00 PM on Monday, December 14, and a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM will both be held at the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance in Monrovia. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church in Monrovia where Mildred had been a long time member. Services and interment in Dubuque, Iowa will be held on Saturday, December 19.
