DEXTER - Mildred B. “Millie” Dexter, 92, passed away March 13, 2010. A native of California, Millie was born in El Centro, moved to San Bernardino with her parents in her teens, then to Monrovia in the early 1950s. Millie was a retired school counselor for Glendora schools, and she was active in many Monrovia clubs and organizations. She had been a member and past president of PEO, Chapter EC, the Monrovia Guild of Children’s Hospital, the Monrovia League. She was also a Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church, and prior to working at the Glendora schools, she worked at the Santa Anita Family Services . Services at 11 AM on Friday, March 19 will be held at the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance, 600 E. Foothill Blvd in Monrovia. In her memory contributions may be made to the Monrovia Guild of Children’s Hospital c/o the mortuary (626-358-3244).
