Michael Anthony Cude

Michael A. Cude, 65, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014. He was born to BB and Lillian Cude in 1949. He lived in San Gabriel where he played little league and learned the game of golf. He followed in his fathers footsteps working for the Southern Pacific Railroad and retired after 40 years in 2009. He graduated from San Gabriel High School in 1967, attended Cal State LA and graduated in 1972. He married the love of his life, Margaret (Swanson) Cude, in 1972 and together raised two daughters, Jennifer and Christina. Mike's passion in life was golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. After health issues in May 2013, Mike was gifted a second chance and lived this past year to the fullest. Mike is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maggie; their children Jennifer and Christina; their son-in-laws John MacKay and Mario Esola; their four grandsons Tanner, Ian, Lloyd and Henry; his sisters Margaret Morgan and Patricia Everett; his brothers JR Cude and Charlie Cude; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and people he called brothers and sisters. Mike realized this past year, just how big FAMILY really is. Arrangements are under the direction of Douglass & Zook Mortuary in Monrovia, Califonia.
