Miceal Drohan

Miceal Diarmuid Drohan, "Dro", age 67, born on April 09, 1957, in Pasadena, CA left this life for a better one on December 16, 2024. He passed away peacefully at his home in Bradbury, CA surrounded by his family. Dro was a proud Navy Submarine Veteran, serving his country during the Cold War as a Nuclear Submarine Radioman. When he came home, he continued to serve others in the Fire Life Safety business until he retired in 2019. Dro's retirement days were full of love, adventures and laughter with his wife, Charlie, by his side. 

Dro was a proud Irishman, and like all Irishman had the gift of gab and used it frequently to everyone's delight! He always had a smile on his face, a story to tell and a joke in his pocket. Dro loved the ocean and all things "Cowboy". He will be missed by so many.

Dro is preceded by his parents, Joseph "Irish Joe" Drohan and Nora Murphy Drohan. He's survived by his wife, Veronica "Charlie" Stucki Drohan, his children, Ashley Drohan, Tyler Drohan, Liam Drohan and John Stucki Yoho, his grandchildren, Blaize Torrez and Raelyn Morales, his siblings, Sean Drohan, Mairead Greenwell, Dermit Drohan and Patrick Drohan. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Alison Castaneda, Shane Castaneda, Eli Castaneda, Jennifer Drohan, Kyle Drohan, Daniel Lais, Christopher Lais, as well as countless friends that he considers family. 

Services for Miceal Diarmuid Drohan will be held Friday January 17th. There will be a 12:30pm viewing prior to the services at 1:00pm at Douglas and Zook Funeral Home, 600 E. Foothill Blvd. Monrovia Ca, 91016. Followed by a Celebration of his life with food and drinks at the VFW Post 2070, 825 S. Magnolia Monrovia, Ca. 91016.
