Merle Fetter

Merle Fetter, 88, born on January 31, 1936, in Morrisdale, PA, passed away January 08, 2025. He resided in Bradbury, CA at the time of his passing. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Joy Rogers, spouse Ed and their four children (Kyle, Cora, Eilidh & Isaac), and son, Steve Fetter, spouse Suzanne and their six children (Harrison, Oliver, Celeste, Mei, Shandi & Lucie). He is also survived by his younger brother Walter. Over Merle's life he served as a pastor, missionary and contractor.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM). The Altadena Fountain of Life Nazarene Church that Merle and Barbara supported for many years burned in the Altadena/Pasadena fires.  The family would encourage gifts to this church family via NCM. 

For those that would like to attend the Celebration of Life Memorial service, it will be held in Lee Chapel of Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene (PazNaz), Note this is a recent change. The hour prior is available for those that would like to visit with Merle's family and friends.  There Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 2 pm PT (local time) / 5 pm ET and will be followed by a time of fellowship and light hors d'œuvres in Gilmore Hall.
