Melissa Jane English was born August 21, 1960, in Tupelo Mississippi to Jim and Serena (Jane) McGregor. Melissa passed away, on August 30, 2011. Melissa left behind her mother, her husband, Keith English, her two step children, Doug English, and Marci Croxton, and her grandchildren, Cadence and Aiden Croxton. Melissa is also survived by her younger sister Liz Pounds. Melissa’s older brother, Bobby McGregor, predeceased Melissa. Melissa will be remembered for her love of the outdoors, and for the strength and passion with which she explored them. She will also be remembered as a leader in her field at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in Pasadena. She lived her life with an amazing passion and vigor that was unmatched by but a few. Services will be held on Saturday, September 24 at 1:00pm at Bethany Church in Sierra Madre.
