Marion Roberts

Marion Roberts, 94, born on November 24, 1931, in Chicago, IL, United States, passed away July 19, 2026. She resided in Mission Viejo, California at the time of her passing.  She grew up with her parents, August and Margaret, in Chicago, Illinois and had a younger sister, Lois Freimuth.   Her work life was as a top notch secretary and executive assistant, including, for many years for the U.S. Forest Service.  She  lived almost 50 years in Monrovia, California with her beloved husband, Tom, and their home became the  center of our family.   She was fiercely devoted to her family and loved any and all social events and holidays.  Marion is survived by husband, Tom Roberts, of Mission Viejo, California, daughter Nancy Maier (Charles), also of Mission Viejo, son Edward Treder (Sally) of Rancho Cucamonga, grandchildren Karyn Arranaga (Darren), Julie Conry (Patrick), Cris Arranaga, grandson Kenneth Treder, and great granddaughters Emma Conry and Claire Conry.  She was a loving stepmom to Pam (David) Neely, Barbara Roberts, Patty Bir, and Ed Roberts, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren living throughout the United States.  The family would like to acknowledge the loving, kind care Marion recieved at Morningstar Senior Memory Care, as well as Hoag Hospice and the devoted nurses who helped her in her final days.  We will not forget.  Marion is, and will be, deeply missed but always remembered by her family and loved ones.  Arrangements are under the care of Douglass & Zook Funeral and Cremation Services, Monrovia, CA.
