Marilyn Susie Malloy

Susie Malloy passed away Wednesday February 6th, 2019 at the young age of 61 from complications after a fall. She is survived by her loving children Melanie Malloy & Paul Malloy, her brothers and sisters Bruce Malloy, Donald Malloy, Kathy Hurley, Sandra Cardona, Terri Whaley, John Malloy, & Darlene Etherredge, and several nieces and nephews.
Susie was born November 15, 1957 in California and was the fifth of eight children to Betty Joyce Malloy (Collins) and Thomas Ellis Malloy. She lived her entire life in Southern California & loved every moment of SoCal life. Although she moved quite a bit in her early 20's & 30's, she primarily lived in the San Gabriel Valley city of Duarte. Susie never married, but spent 22 fun filled years with her boyfriend Neal Cole. For many years, she was a homemaker & caregiver in every sense of the word. She had many clients who loved her and felt she was part of their families.
Susie enjoyed cooking and baking, and loved sharing her meals and baked goodies with her neighbors. Even after her children grew up and moved out of the house, she still cooked as if they were home. She always had a way of putting a little extra love in her food, and it showed in the many smiles that shared in her delicious treats. She enjoyed socializing with her sisters, spending time sitting in the car scratching lotto tickets & having lunch and shopping with her daughter, calling her son whenever she got a chance, going to the beach with Neal every weekend in the warm SoCal summers, & watching American Idol and any movie on Lifetime or the Hallmark Channel.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday March 30th, 2019 at from 3pm-6pm at the home of Billy & April Costigan located at 918 Linda Vista Ave., Pasadena, CA 91103.
