Marie Paratore Burns, 79, passed away May 12, 2010. Marie was a warm friend, dedicated educator, a generous philanthropist ... and the beloved mother of Kathleen Burns Dombrowski and Jeanne Burns-Haindel and her husband, Michael J. Haindel. She is also the loving grandmother of John, Kaitlyn & Kristen Dombrowski and Victoria & John Haindel. A vigil service at 7:00 PM today, Friday, May 14 will be held at the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance. Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Saturday will be in the Chapel of Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles. Care entrusted to the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance, 600 E. Foothill Blvd. in Monrovia.
