She would go on to work at San Gabriel Unified School District, where she would meet her husband, William.

They married in 1991 and moved to Monrovia, CA, where they would raise their three children, Justin, Luke, and Anjanette.

She was actively involved in her own children’s lives and in the lives of her fellow moms and their children.

Lynette was a devoted Christian, a loyal fan of the Dodgers, and an avid reader.

In 2019, she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Her cancer journey would continue on and off for five years before her passing on March 4, 2024.
