Monrovia, CA

Lynette Gile was born on August 23, 1965 in Los Angeles, CA.

As the oldest of three, she took care of her two younger siblings, Lonnie and Larissa, while their parents worked.

After graduating from Alhambra High, she earned an Associate’s degree from East Los Angeles College.

She would go on to work at San Gabriel Unified School District, where she would meet her husband, William.

They married in 1991 and moved to Monrovia, CA, where they would raise their three children, Justin, Luke, and Anjanette.

She was actively involved in her own children’s lives and in the lives of her fellow moms and their children.

Lynette was a devoted Christian, a loyal fan of the Dodgers, and an avid reader.

In 2019, she was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Her cancer journey would continue on and off for five years before her passing on March 4, 2024.

Throughout her life and in this journey, Lynette remained a positive, optimistic, and hopeful person.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Irma, her stepfather, Ronald, and her grandparents.

She leaves behind her husband, her two siblings, and her three children.

She was the kindest person and many will miss her.
