Lucy Joan Ferraro

Lucy Ferraro passed away peacefully at her home, July 28, 2012, with family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Anthony. Lucy is survived by her children (spouses) - Robert (Lory), Donna (Dale), & James (Liza); grandchildren - John, Tony, Michelle, Daniel, Dana, Joseph, Jamie, Grace, George, Guia, & Gemma; great grandchildren - Tyler, Steven, John John, Samuel, Edward, Luke, Gabriela, Cameron, & Ava. Lucy was born in Hartford, CT to a large Polish family. She met her husband, Anthony, at a dance during World War II. They married soon after (as Perry Como was already taken) and began their family. In the mid 50's they moved out west to California. Lucy’s life centered round her large multi-cultural extended family and her garden. A day in the life was reading her Pasadena Star News with a cup of tea in the morning. The afternoons were spent in her abundant flower garden. As she relaxed in late afternoon, she could be seen completing her crossword puzzles with another cup of tea, of course. You dare didn’t bother her while her two favorite evening shows were on, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Lucy will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate to know and love her.
