February 14, 1926 — March 18, 2017

Lois Marie Sheppard, born February 14, 1926, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2017 at the age of 91. Lois attended Oregon State University. She worked at Sequoia National Park, where she met her husband, Jack W. Sheppard, an Air Force veteran of WWII and accomplished artist. She was a lover of nature, who spent many summers in Yosemite Valley with her parents in the 1930s. Lois was a beloved wife, mother, and step-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Greg (Patricia) Sheppard; daughter, Lisa Sheppard; and step-grandchildren, Sahara and Tristan. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
