Linda McCaffrey

Our beloved mother, Linda McCaffrey passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 23rd, 2022 at the age of 65 in her home in Monrovia, CA.

Linda was born an identical twin in 1957, the second of 6 children born to Dick & Janet Cordes. At the age of 10, Linda and her family moved from Denver, CO to San Jose, CA where she spent the majority of her life before recently moving to Southern California to be near family.

In her youth, Linda served in the Civil Air Patrol where she became a squadron commander. After raising her two children, Linda proudly earned her Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy, specializing in the Internal Family Systems model. As a therapist, Linda's empathy and compassion had an invaluable impact on many lives.

Linda was an incredibly loving mother to her daughters and grandmother to her four grandchildren whose pictures adorn the walls of her home. There was nothing "Num Num" loved more than snuggling and spoiling her babies, teaching them how to bake cookies, making lemonade stands, and throwing rocks.

Linda will be remembered for her incredible warmth, her infectious laugh, her drive to nurture, and her love of color.

Linda is survived by her children, Janette & Boyd Vico of Los Angeles, CA; Sara Timm & Jared Bane of Marblehead, MA; her grandchildren, Michael, Skylar, Austin & Callum; her siblings: Greg Cordes, her twin sister Sharon McKannon, Ron Cordes, Christina Davison & Meg Doppee along with their spouses and Linda's many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

A celebration of life is being planned.
