Larry Michael Manart

October 6, 1950 — July 15, 2020

On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, Larry Michael Manart, a loving husband and father, passed away at his home in Covina, California at the age of 69 from an advanced malignancy. Larry was born on October 6, 1950 to Olga and Frank Manart in Pasadena, California. He was raised in Southern California and graduated as a wildcat from Monrovia High School. He was drafted by the US Army, he served for two years and he was honorably discharged in 1972. He loved the outdoors, and like his dad, he became an avid fisherman. He was humble, quiet and gentle of heart. He was a good man. For several decades he worked as a maintenance technician. He was loved by his colleagues, and as he aged he became a mentor for workers entering his field of interest. He earned the respect of his fellow employees and his employers. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife April Manart, his son Larry Manart Jr., his daughter Nichole Manart, his siblings Laura Zabel, Linda Manart and Frank Manart, and many nieces and nephews. He is loved and missed by all of us, and we wish him God speed in his passage. His life may end with his death, but our relationship with him can never die.
