Lacy Anne Oakley

On Saturday November 12, 2011 Lacy Anne Oakley passed away suddenly at her home in Arcadia, California. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister, grand daughter, aunt and friend. Lacy was born on May 29, 1980 in Pasadena California. She grew up in Arcadia, California. Although born with a servere hearing impairment she was able to overcome her disability with the assistance of her tutors, teachers and hearing aides. She attended Brightwood School, Rio Hondo Elementary and graduated from Arroyo High School in El Monte, Calif. Lacy was a fun loving person with a huge heart. She had a wonderful smile that will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Lori Trujillo. She is survived by her father Harold Oakley, step mother JoAnn Mendez, sister and brother in law Kirstin and Nate Wendt, brother and sister in law Christopher and Monica Oakley, step brothers Christopher Navarro and Tomas Mendez, step sister AnnMarie Trudeau, grandparents Stan and Helen Oakley, as well as her nieces, nephews and countless friends. A private memorial was held on November 22, 2011 at Douglas & Zook Mortuary in Monrovia, California.
