Kevin H. Moore

Kevin H. Moore was born to Cecil (Tom) And Barbara Moore on June 21st, 1957. Kevin attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Monrovia and graduated from Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, CA. Kevin earned an Associate of Science Degree in Fire Technology from Mt. San Antonio College. Kevin joined the Pasadena Fire Department in 1979, following in his father's footsteps. Kevin had served 32 years on the department with the last ten being at Station # 32 as part of the Urban Search & Rescue team. Kevin had planned on retiring in July and was looking forward to spending time vacationing with his loving wife Connie and his two children. Kevin had a passion for motorcycles and loved to ride his Harley and KTM with his brothers and fellow firefighters. He loved going to the river and also loved to travel and really do anything that got the adrenaline pumping. Kevin valued family get togethers, which were never often enough. He was truly a "gentle giant" with a huge heart, a big grin, and a love of life. Kevin's Fire Family was a big part of his life and defined who he was. He lived and loved life to the fullest. Kevin had a simple approach to life. Love your Lord and Savior, Love your wife, your kids, your family, your fellow firefighters and whatever you do. Kevin passed on May 31, 2011; he was preceded in death by his brother Sean and his mother Barbara. Kevin is survived by his Father Tom, wife Connie, children Aaron and Carissa, his sister Debbie, brothers Greg, Denny, Pat, Mike, Dave and Rory. A funeral service was held June 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church.
