Kathryn (Kathy) Louise Campbell (Garcia, Bent, Houser) was born August 12, 1955 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She grew up in Fort worth, Texas and Alhambra, California. She passed away peacefully at home in Sierra Madre, California on November 19, 2024.
Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and strength. She had a great love of animals, especially butterflies and her dogs. She enjoyed gardening and walking through botanical gardens.
She worked in banking and aerospace having had long careers at Lockheed Martin Skunkworks and Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
She is survived by her husband Alex, children Michelle and Jay-Are, daughter-in-law Danielle, granddaughter Cayleigh and sisters Taryn and Alice. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Joan and her brother Greg.
There will be a celebration of her life in 2025.
Arrangements are under the care of Douglass & Zook Funeral and Cremation Services, Monrovia, CA.
