PORRETTA - Julie, 45, was born in Glendale, California April 26, 1965. She passed away on April 9, 2011 after facing many challenges of heart disease since she was 32. She is survived by her only child, Nicholas Porretta, her sister, Peggy Dennis (Mike), brother, Mark Porretta (Renee), step sister, Michael Ann Schulz and step brother Brian Duncan, step-mother, Mikki Porretta and long time companion Mike Camarena. She was pre-deceased by her father, John Porretta and mother, Barbara Bessolo. Viewing will be held at Douglass and Zook, Monrovia from 5 until 8 p.m. and The Rosary at 7 p.m. on April 14. A Mass will be said at 1:00 p.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church in Sierra Madre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Julie’s name to the American Heart Association.
