August 5, 1911 — June 29, 2010

Julia O. Swab died on June 29, 2010 at the age of 98. She died at home surrounded by her loving family. Julia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Charles and Elaine Swab, her daughter Marilyn Minke, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Julia was a school nurse in El Monte, retiring in 1974. A funeral will be held on Tues. July 6, at 10:30 am at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arcadia. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Arroyo High School in El Monte for the Julia Swab Memorial Nursing Scholarship or to the charity of your choice.
