His parents were Encarnacion Ocampo and Pilar Velasquez. Jose has joined his wife, Nivia Velasquez, in heaven. Jose is grieved by his three daughters: Maria G. Hale, Maria J. Rendon, and Liliana Gutierrez, along with his nine grandchildren and family friends. Jose had nine grandchildren: Melanie Hale, Mychelle Hale, Marsela Hale, Michael Hale Jr., Lauren Velasquez, Samantha Rendon, Andrea Rendon, Madison Gutierrez, and Tabitha Gutierrez.
Arrangements are under the care of Douglass & Zook Funeral and Cremation Services, Monrovia, CA.
