Jose "Sam" Samaniego, born January 13, 1936, passed away January 8, 2014 at the age of 77. Sam was the long-time owner of Stuffed Sandwich in San Gabriel. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Marlene; children, Ken Samaniego, Kelli Wurster, and Kimberly Samaniego; sister, Armida Wright; and numerous grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Douglass & Zook Chapel. His graveside service will take place at Oakdale Memorial Park, 1401 S. Grand Ave., Glendora, CA 91740 on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
