Joe M. Presley age 80 of Dewey, Arizona passed away at home on August 5, 2012. He was a former Glendora resident for 36 years. He was born September 1, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama to Elbert F. and Virgie D. Spann Presley. Joe retired from Dowty Aerospace having worked over 34 years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, camping and loved to paint. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Presley of Dewey, his daughter, Jaime B. Presley of Fresno, his three step-children, DeWayne (Vera) Wintrode, Sharri (Joe) Hencz and Glenace (Rick) VanDemark, 6 step-grandchildren and 14 step great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister, Mona (John) Cook and brother, Jerry (Becky) Presley as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacquelynn, his parents and four brothers, Art, Robert, Ottis and Earl Presley. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Douglass and Zook Chapel of Remembrance, 600 E. Foothill Blvd., Monrovia, CA. Interment will follow in Oakdale Memorial Park, Glendora, CA.
