Joe C. Aceves born December 6, 1936 in Los Angeles, Ca, passed away peacefully at his home in South Pasadena on July 24, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ernestine Aceves; daughters Margo, Margaret and son Mark; their spouses, and grandchildren Emma, Molly, Riley and Matthew. He joined the Air Force in 1955 during the Cold War and served in the Pacific as a flight engineer aboard B-29’s. He was employed by Hobart Corporation as a field technician for 30 years. Joe was a Cub Scout leader, and was a member of the Pasadena Lawn bowling League. Joe had a passion for mechanical drawing, listening to music, telling stories of his youth and time served in the Air Force. He will forever be remembered for his dedication and love for his family. Memorial Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Pasadena, Ca on July 29, 2011 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Friends Who Care at Holy Family Catholic Church (626) 403-6141.
