Jacqueline Henney, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026. Born on June 26, 1924, in San Francisco, California, Jacqueline’s life was a testament to strength, love, and enduring family bonds.
Jacqueline’s journey began in the vibrant city of San Francisco, but it was in Los Angeles where she laid the foundation for her future, graduating from Polytechnic High School. Her education there paved the way for a lifetime filled with resilience and devotion to those she cherished most.
In 1944, Jacqueline married Lieutenant Commander Jack B. Henney of the United States Navy, beginning a partnership marked by shared dreams and unwavering support. Though Jack passed away in 1989, the love they cultivated continued to flourish through their family and the memories they created together.
Jacqueline was the devoted mother of June and Jean, guiding them with warmth and wisdom. Her family extended into a cherished circle that included her grandson Demian, granddaughter Renee, grandsons John and Gregory Arbizo, who is also her grandson-in-law, as well as great-granddaughter Tera and great-grandson Jack. Each cherished member of her family was a reflection of the love and care she poured into every relationship.
Her earlier life was framed by her close-knit family, including her late daughter Jan and siblings—twin sister Myra, brothers Harold and Bob, and sister Aaronette, affectionately known as Micky. Their memories remain a vital part of Jacqueline’s story and the fabric of those who knew her.
Jacqueline Henney’s legacy is one of heartfelt connections, enduring love, and a commitment to family that transcended generations. She leaves behind a tapestry woven with kindness and strength, a lasting imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing her. The touches of her presence will be felt forever in the lives she shaped and the hearts she touched.
