Jack A. Siegel

November 20, 1928 — June 18, 2009

Jack Siegel, passed away on June 18; he was 80. Employed in Physical Plant as an electrician on March 12, 1979, he retired on July 1, 1996. Born in Indonesia, Siegel was a veteran of the Dutch military. When he immigrated to the United States he established himself by working shifts both morning and night until he was hired by Caltech. After retiring, Siegel worked as a volunteer in Caltech's aeronautics department until May of this year. "Jack was a great father, grandfather, and uncle."
