J. Luz Muro de 73 años falleció el 24 de Marzo de 2015. Lucho 5 años y 9 meses por su vida después de sufrir una embolia y más complicaciones. Una misa en su honor se llevará a cabo el martes 31 de Marzo 2015 en la iglesia Inmaculada Concepción 726 Shamrock Ave., Monrovia, California.
Nació de José Muro y María de Jesús Martínez el 14 de Mayo de 1941 en el rancho El Salitral en Tepetongo, Zacatecas, México. Tenía cuatro hermanas: Martha Muro, María Muro, Celia Delgado, y Catalina Muro. Pasó su niñez en el mismo rancho en que nació. De los 18 a los 19 años marchó para obtener su cartilla. Después se mudó a vivir al rancho El Llano Blanco donde trabajo como agricultor por 4 años antes de regresar a Tepetongo.
El 4 de Marzo de 1963 Luz se casó con Andrea Alvarado en Calera, Zacatecas. Tenían 52 años de casados. Tuvieron cinco hijos. Dos que fallecieron: María de Jesús Muro y Ramiro Muro. Las tres hijas que quedaron son Margarita Garcia, Rita Muro, y Cristina Muro.
El Señor Luz Muro fue principalmente agricultor en México hasta que se mudó a Monrovia en Los Estados Unidos en Agosto del año 1969 donde trabajo en restaurantes por más de 30 años.
Luz tenía ocho nietos: Joanna Vidal, Steve Garcia, Erik Correa, Alexandra Correa, Adrian Garcia, Noe Correa, Isabella Correa, y Jesus Morales. También tenía tres bisnietos Naomi Vidal, Martin Jr. Vidal, y Sebastian Garcia.
Le gustaba convivir con su familia. Siempre era muy cariñoso, alegre, amistoso, trabajador, y responsable. Fue apreciado por toda la gente que lo conocía. Era un excelente padre, hijo, y abuelito.
Descanse en paz, Abuelito. Lo queremos mucho. Gracias por todos los lindos momentos. Es gracias a usted que estamos aquí.

J. Luz Muro, 73, passed away on the 24th of March of 2015. He fought 5 years and 9 months for his life after suffering a stroke and other complications. A mass in his honor will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church 726 Shamrock Ave., Monrovia, California.
Born to Jose Muro and Maria de Jesus Martinez on May 14, 1941 at the El Salitral ranch in Tepetongo, Zacatecas, Mexico. He had four sisters: Martha Muro, Maria Muro, Celia Delgado, and Catalina Muro. He spent his childhood on the ranch where he was born. From 18 to 19 years old he marched to get his identification card. He then moved to live in the rancho, El Llano Blanco, where he worked as a farmer for four years before returning to Tepetongo.
On March 4, 1963 he married Andrea Alvarado in Calera, Zacatecas. They had been married 52 years. They had five children. Two who passed away: Maria de Jesus Muro and Ramiro Muro. The three daughters who remain are Margarita Garcia, Rita Muro, and Cristina Muro.
Mr. Luz Muro was mainly a farmer in Mexico until he moved to Monrovia in the United States in August 1969 where he worked in restaurants for over 30 years.
Luz had eight grandchildren: Joanna Vidal, Steve Garcia, Erik Correa, Alexandra Correa, Adrian Garcia, Noe Correa, Isabella Correa, and Jesus Morales. He also had three great-grandchildren: Naomi Vidal, Martin Jr. Vidal and Sebastian Garcia.
He loved spending time with his family. He was always very affectionate, happy, friendly, hardworking, and responsible. He was appreciated by everyone who knew him. He was an excellent father, son and grandfather.
Rest in peace, Grandpa. We love you. Thanks for all the beautiful moments. It is thanks to you that we are all here.
