Isaia Benito Izzo who was born on February 2nd, 1928 in Torrecuso, Italy passed away on January 13th, 2020 in Arcadia, CA. Benito lived a life filled with joy, love, and dedication to his family. As an immigrant from Italy, he worked hard to live out the American dream and live an exemplary life as a wonderful father, husband, Nonno, and friend. Benito is survived by his wife Maria, sons Lino and Carlo, daughter-in-laws Pamela and Stephanie, and grandchildren Paulina, Carlo, Giuliana, Francesca, and Chiara. A day will not go by that we will not miss our beloved Benito; the ultimate story-teller, historian, music lover, joke-teller and dance partner. His love will continue to live on through those that he loved and those who had the honor and privilege of loving him. To all family and friends who touched Benito's life, our eternal thanks. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Douglass & Zook Chapel of the Foothills. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Holy Angels Church, 370 Campus Dr., Arcadia, CA 91007 followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Los Angeles.
