Beautiful and courageous until the end, Helena Gil Simmons born in Dundee Scotland on June 24th 1948, passed on October 4th 2011 to be with our Savior. Devoted wife and loving mother of two daughters, Heather and Tanya, and Grannie to five grandchildren, Anthony 16, Cameron 6, Brielle 4, Micah 1, Peighton 1 ,(and unborn baby). Helena was cheerful and humorous. Generous beyond measure. She was faithful to her convictions and belief in the Latter Day Saint church. Helena was honest with a sense of gratitude and was filled with integrity. She was patient and kind and will be forever remembered by those whose lives she touched. Deeply missed and cherished, forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 8, 2011 at 2pm. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1452 Royal Oaks Dr., Duarte CA 91010. Lang may yer lum reek.
