Hector Felipe Maciel

Hector Felipe Maciel, 80, born on September 30, 1940, in Rosario, Argentina, passed away January 28, 2021. He resided in Duarte, CA at the time of his passing. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Maciel, daughters Veronica Stack and Fabiana Muench Cassanova, son-in-laws Richard Stack and Kenneth Muenchcasanova, and five grandchildren Brandon Hernandez, Zackary Stack, Ashley Stack, Nico Muenchcasonva, and Marcus Muenchcasanova.

Hector lived life to the fullest extent while always bringing laughter and joy to all that had the pleasure to meet him. His love for travel began early in life, taking abroad to Italy for a year, then eventually immigrating from Argentina to the United States, and extensive International trips with his family. Throughout all of his accomplishments, he was most proud of his family, especially his two amazing daughters and five grandchildren. If he wasn't at the YMCA playing water volleyball, you could find him working in his yard or spending quality time with family at Lake Arrowhead. Hector will be missed dearly by not only his family, but also his dear friends from the YMCA water volleyball crew, and his favorite dogs Lily, Petra, and Chi Chi.
