Gertrude "Trudy" Stute passed away peacefully on January 1, 2019 in Sierra Madre, CA. Trudy was born on October 14, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA to Pearl and Alfred Brown. After high school graduation and working several years at Douglas Aircraft, Trudy married Warren Stute, the love of her life. They raised three children, all of whom graduated from Arcadia High School. Trudy and her family attended Sierra Madre Congregational Church, where Trudy grew in the faith and knowledge of her Lord, Jesus Christ. Trudy's faith sustained her throughout her life and enabled her to share the gospel and love of Christ to all. She was a prayer warrior. Trudy was preceded in death by her husband, Warren. She is survived by her children, Laura Bacon, Steven Stute and Glen Stute; grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Spencer, Taylor Grace and Jordan; great grandchildren, Mercedes, Warren and Ava. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, January 6 at 11:00 AM at Douglass & Zook, Monrovia.
