March 4, 1928 — March 28, 2014
Jerry was a hard worker, eventually owning his own plastering business.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Helen Snider; son, Jerry Alan, daughter, Sharon Wortham; sister, Dorothy Bell; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jerry lived in the Los Angeles County all his life, and he and his wife settled down in El Monte in 1958.
Jerry was full of wisdom, kindness, and understanding, not to mention a well-respected person, who was devoted to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and remembered with gratitude to GOD for blessing our lives with his presence and his compassion for all!
A memorial service will be held Monday, April 7 at 2:00 PM at Douglass and Zook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jerry's name to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org or (800) 242-8721.
