Gaylord P. Hamill

Gaylord Stucki Hamill passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on May 6, 2011 at City of Hope in Duarte, CA. She was 67 years old. She is survived by her son Billy Hamill; her daughter-in-law Christina Hamill; her grandchildren Margaret and Kurtis Hamill; her father Keith L. Stucki and her sisters Gloria Stucki Wrathall and Veronica (Charlie) Stucki. Gaylord was born on February 14, 1944 at Mitchell Field in New York. In the 1970's she was the regular exercise rider for Ancient Title. Gaylord was a lover of life, an adventurist and a fighter until the end. She will be missed dearly by all. Funeral services will be held at Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance Funeral Home on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 12 o’clock Noon, followed by burial at Live Oak Memorial Park. A reception will be held, following the burial, at Domenicos Monrovia, 236 W. Huntington Dr., Monrovia, CA 91016.
