MEDRANO - Eugene A. Medrano, 67, passed away February 4, 2010. Gene, who was born in Monrovia, had been the owner of Rancho Duarte Florist with his wife, Maryrose, for over 30 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41-years, and their daughters, Stacy (Hugh) Cantwell and Brittney Medrano. A vigil service was held at St. Joseph’s Chapel (at Santa Teresita Medical Center), in Duarte on Tuesday evening, February 9. A Memorial Mass was then celebrated on Wednesday morning, February 10, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Monrovia where he had been a long time member of the church and the Knights of Columbus. Care entrusted to the Douglass & Zook Chapel of Remembrance Funeral Home in Monrovia.
